Cosmopsarus regius

The Golden-Breasted Starling (Cosmopsarus regius) is distributed throughout Northeast Africa, spanning an area from southeastern Ethiopia to northern and eastern Tanzania[^1^].

Abundant in open terrain and low vegetation areas, this timid bird feeds on tree canopies.

Living in pairs or small groups, the Golden-Breasted Starling can be either sedentary or nomadic, depending on the rainy season.
